Why is everyone jumping on the AI band wagon ? the media, the White House, what are they trying to sell us ?

Why is the military so interested in AI ? to do a better job of destroying ? make a better killing machine ?

How doe AI "it" improved everyday person's life?

It's a business tool that came from the military like DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) from the military.
